Lupus is an auto-immune disease that roughly exists in two forms. Skin Lupus (LE) and Systematic Lupus Erythematodes (SLE). LE mostly targets the skin and SLE targets both skin and organs. An auto-immune disease means that the body’s defence mechanisms turn against the healthy cells in your body and can cause infections. These infections can occur anywhere in the body and damage skin, veins and organs.
